Nicole Richie Wants You to Text:
Nicole Richie has definitely been bitten by the charity bug and needs a lil help from her friends. She’ writes:
“Hi Everyone,
This past year, philanthropy has opened my eyes to so much need and so much beauty. I have also realized how easy it is to help, and how rewarding it feels to be able to make a positive difference in someone’s life.
Last week, my friend Carlos and I brought a video camera to Beyond Shelter. Just the two of us. There are 175 children with families here, most of whom have been homeless at some point.
Today, they play in a concrete courtyard. Because of the neighborhood they live in, they have nowhere else to play. I met a woman who has ten children living in a three-bedroom apartment. The Beyond Shelter rec room only allows ten kids at a time. I wish you could all go there with me and see.
I’d like to share with you a glimpse of these beautiful children through my eyes.

Good Charlotte singer, Joel Madden was gushing to the crowd at an NY concert last night about his new daughter Harlow. Madden told the crowd that no matter how many pretty girls there were in the audience, three months ago when he and fiance Nicole Richie had little Harlow, he met his one true love.
Nicole, who was at the concert back stage with her BFF Paris Hilton, who is now so in love with Joel’s brother Benji, has had mom duty while Joel and the Band (with paris) have been touring europe and parts of the US.
OK! is reporting that Nicole is really happy with the way things are going in her life right now, and Starzlife.com can be the first to agree. We caught Nicole out and about in Glendale this past week and her smile was the size of the sun!
Although she is playing stay at home mom, she has also been making time to kick start her career as an actress. Check out these pictures Starzlife got of Nicole leaving a meeting with a script. And then at a follow up a few days later.

A not so anorexic Healthy looking Nicole Richie completed traffic school at the California Traffic Safety Institute in Pasadena on Wednesday Afternoon. Nicole, who was arrested for DUI for going the wrong way on an exit ramp in December 2006, and later spent 82 minutes in prison for the crime, participated in the mandatory course over the past week. Amidst the constant media glare and pressures of her busy life, the glamorous Paris Hilton found some time last week to go shopping in search of the perfect outfit to wear for the grand opening of DCMA Collective (formerly Made), a clothing store (and maybe future record label?) owned by current boyfriend, Benji Madden, and twin brother, Joel Madden (Nicole Richie’s partner and father to baby Harlow); of punk music group, Good Charlotte. Judging from these pictures of the DCMA party, I think it’s safe to say that Paris did a pretty good job at her trashy sexy shopping, don’t-cha think?!

Nicole wore an “H” charm around her neck today, while shopping in Beverly Hills. I bet she does this in order to stay away from trouble… You know, as a reminder that Harlow exists and that she must be responsible now. Now, if only she’d wear something that would remind her to give those old lady pits of hers some good ol’ TLC!! They’re GROSS!!
