Unable to deal with her problems in a constructive way, Kirsten Dunst, checked in to the Cirque Lodge rehab center several weeks ago.
“When she first came to the Cirque, she said she was planning to leave Hollywood,” a source revealed. “The staff tried to tell her she’ll feel differently when she learns how to handle her problems in more constructive ways. But ultimately, it will be Kirsten’s decision. If she feels that Hollywood holds too many temptations, then maybe she should go in another direction. One thing is for sure: Kirsten’s got a lot of demons to conquer. But she’s determined to win.”

Eva Mendez is back in Los Angeles after “fighting her demons” for a few weeks at celebrity hotspot Cirque Lodge. I mean, who wouldn’t want to deal with their demons at a place where up get to sleep in 1,000 thread count sheets, have awesome food and be catered to by top “counselors?” I know I wouldn’t. Hopefully Eva is healthy and away from booze and pills, because rumor is she was one pill-popping momma. Coming soon. . . Read the rest »

“I’m going on record as an artist who is able to critique [Amy Winehouse]. I think she has a great talent, but I don’t agree with the Grammys giving her those nods. I think it sends the wrong message, that even in the midst of her stupor of drugs she can get nominated for all these awards. It’s a slap in the face to musicians and artists who work very hard that they turn around and give it to someone who really obviously doesn’t have a grasp of what she has. I’ve been in this business over 25 years and I sacrificed five years of my own life on drugs and almost lost my life because of it. So I take great offence to almost see someone getting glory out of being in the position that they’re in – she needs to get her life together and embrace her craft, she will lose it if she doesn’t get it together.”- Natalie Cole

Amy looked and sounded absolutely awesome at the Grammy’s! I thought it was so sweet how shocked she was when they read out her name. . .Just priceless. I also loved the way she hugged her Mom and held on. I would love to know what she whispered into that ear before she accepted the award! Amy is on the right path. One day at a time, and today seemed to be a great day for Amy. I hope she just goes out for some fish and chips and celebrates with friends and family, minus any booze and that she avoids toxic influences at all costs. My faith is renewed.

Well, at least she decided to go to rehab, as opposed to getting arbitrarily knocked up or carted away in an ambulance!

It’s official. Amy’s people are confirming that the troubled singer has indeed entered into a rehabilitation facility to face her demons straight on.
“Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors,” Universal Music Group said in a statement. “She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction. Amy is the most talented and important musical artist of her generation and has made huge strides on her road to recovery. Universal Music Group wants nothing more than to see her take the time she needs to come back to full health and fulfil her incredible potential with the label. The label has always had the best interests of Amy at heart and has been guided by her family and doctors in the last few months as to the best direction to take. All concerned feel that Amy must put her health before all considerations and will be by her side whenever and wherever they are needed.”
This is the first step in a very difficult journey, but unlike others, Amy seems to be surrounded by a very grounded family and people that genuinely love and adore her.
I can’t help but wonder if this will stick or not, but I have to admit it has made my gloomy day a bit brighter. Amy has raw talent. This girl can make it.
On a lighter note. . .I wonder what they are going to do about that beehive of hers. Temptation can be so very strong and from the looks of that “do” she could store an entire crack den in there. My vote is that she chops it off all together, sells it on Ebay and gives the proceeds to a new charity that I am founding that helps Overly stressed balding, elderly women transplant hair from their
gorillalike
arms, legs and backs onto their fragile scalps. Details on my new charity to follow.
