Does it even exist?
Keith Davidson, attorney for Ranae Shrider released a statement to the AP this afternoon suggesting that Verne Troyer’s lawsuit might either be a farce, or the work of a “trivial celebrity” who’s just trying to “keep his name in the limelight.”
After the statement released yesterday by Shrider’s rep claiming that Verne’s suit was filled with lies, it emerged that they had only read the suit on gossip site TMZ.
Davidson told the AP that none of the defendants had been served with the lawsuit yet and continued to blast it for being leaked to TMZ before it was officially filed.
“The recently revealed lawsuit that was sheepishly leaked to the press by Troyer’s attorney is an abomination of the legal process,” Says Davidson in an e-mail sent on Friday.
Verne is asking for $20,000,000 for emotional distress and battery. Only problem is, he was able to stop Shrider from making a sale of the sex tape, so there’s very little money to be won in court.
Looks like both of these two may have a few screws loose.
