More acquisitions.
The latest claim that Lauren Conrad is living a fake life, is that she actually doesn’t have anything to do with designing her own clothing line, and that she is just the face of the brand, only there for promotions.
Obviously she hasn’t been holding up her end of the promotional deal, as her line has been dropped from one trendy Robertson shop due to her not stopping in to promote herself.
Conrad was supposidly overheard telling another aspiring fashion designer at (go figure) a nightclub, that she only wishes she was good at sketching.
The source that brought the story forward claimed:
“You never see her picking out fabrics, or in the cutting room, or even at the drawing board. She’s not the designer, the only step she’s involved in is the promotion.”
Naturally, Conrads rep responded with the opposite:
“These claims are absurd. Lauren designs her line from start to finish. She does her own sketches, fabric selection and fittings. Her work as a designer has been documented numerous times in the press. To say she isn’t the designer of the collection is 100% false.”
Business as usual for LC.
