Details On LC’s Book Deal.
Here are some details on Lauren Conrad’s upcoming book deal. It was announced yesterday that Lauren had signed on to write a three-book adult fiction series for book publisher HarperCollins.
Here’s the scoop on the series. Conrad says;
“They will be titled L.A. Candy and tell a behind-the scenes story of a young girl who moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show. The books will be loosely inspired by my own experience and are definitely influenced by my own life. Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out.”
More than likely in my opinion she will include some real life scenarios that were never filmed that are real but she will continue to say are just fiction.
The first installment is set to come out in Summer 2009 and she added;
“I’ve always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. So, I’m so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers.”
Also in Summer 2009 you can expect a Heidi Montag cover of UsWeekly or something telling her side of the story defending the way she was perceived in Lauren’s “fiction.”
