Crossing Paths For Charity.
Since thier breakup in November 2006, Joel Madden and Hilary Duff haven’t really crossed paths very much I don’t think. Until last night!
Just a few weeks after Duff and Madden broke it off, Madden started dating Nicole Richie. During the healing process, Duff was heard calling Richie a “Skank,” and directing lyrics in two songs on her album, titled Dignity, and Gypsy Woman, towards Joel’s new girl.
Over the past year and a half things have seemed to cool down. Nicole and Joel have had a child and are happy, Hilary Duff has a new boyfriend in NHL player Mike Comrie, and they have all moved out of each others lives.
But on June 18, 2008, both couples attended the Cartier LOVE bracelet launch. At the event Cartier announced it’s 2008 charity ambassadors, both Hilary Duff and Joel Madden were chosen as musician ambassadors.
Did they speak? Did her and Nicole cross paths? I need details from someone who was there. I’m sure it was all civil, charity brings everyone together!
The LOVECHARITY bracelet is available for $995 at Cartier boutiques nationwide with $200 per bracelet benefiting its corresponding charity. On LOVEDAY, June 19th, 10% of all sales from the entire LOVE collection will benefit the partnered organizations.
