They Always Want a Piece.
Vanessa Hudgens is the latest upcoming star to have someone from her past trying to benefit off of her financial gain. It always seems to happen to every young star at least once in their career, someone mysteriously shows up and claims to be owed enormous sums of money.
This High School Musical hottie is now the target of her former manager Johnny Vieira. Vieira claims that he helped launch Vanessa’s career with the HSM franchise and she owes him a ton of money.
In a lawsuit filed Monday in the LA Superior court, Vieira is asking for 5 million dollars from the 19 year old star.
Vieira was fired by V following the success of the first musical, and though an agreement was reached, he claims Hudgens never paid up.
Vanessa’s daddy, who would have been in charge of her career back then says Vieira has a very “preditory nature” and is about to get all Chris Hansen on his ass to shield off other young talent (or other young talent’s idiot parents) from falling prey to this guy.
