It’s Worth a Shot.
Tara Reid has reportedly dropped her high profile booking agent in hopes of shedding her party girl image to get her amazing acting career back on track.
Reid starred in the 1999 teen classic, American Pie, and from then on out made a name for herself doing beer bongs at spring break parties and hangin’ out with the guy from Girls Gone Wild.
Reid’s booking agent, Richard Squire, has booked her the only work she’s known in the past few years, including college bar tours, and a Hustler bar party in Australia, but Reid insists she’s past that stage in her life and at age 33, she’s ready to get back into serious acting.
Don’t worry Tara, they’re probably making another American Pie DVD as we speak, and I’m sure you’d fit their budget just fine.

Tara Reid will be celebrating her 33rd today. Reid, who’s been celebrating for what seems to be like 33 years as it is, actually has an excuse for being a hot drunk mess for once.
Unfortunately there were no tribute videos for her on YouTube, but I did see her on E!’s 100 dumbest celebrity quotes last night, a couple of times.

Tara Reid has been the target of tabloid criticism ever since two botched stomach surgeries left her with a mess of a belly starting back in 2004.
Some photos of a bikini clad Reid surfaced last week and the peanut gallery unleashed a barrage of negativity on the fact she’d step out of the house looking like that, but Reid tells People Magazine that she just has to deal with it.
“It does hurt my feelings, but what can I do? I have to move on.”
Reid tries to look on the bright side regarding her surgical scars, calling them her “battle wounds.”
You may think Reid is a has-been in the film industry, but she recently produced a film titled 7-10 Split.
You may still think she’s a has-been in the film industry after learning that as well.

Tara told Pop Tarts last week at a benefit gala in Hollywood;
“I totally plan to go back into acting once the strike stops. The economy is so bad right now that people are afraid to put money back into acting. Even the shows that seem new, they really shot six months ago. So when it’s all back up again, I will go back into it. That’s my heart,”
Hmm, thats funny, because right off the top of my head, Johnny Depp was just paid nearly $56 million dollars to do one little film.
Oh that and the fact that the writers strike has been over for 8 months.

Christian Audigier held an Ed Hardy fashion show at last night’s 2008 Macy’s Passport Auction to benifit HIV/Aids.
The auction was hosted by Sharon Stone, and featured Elizabeth Taylor as a guest speaker.
Some of the celebrities in attendance included aspiring fashion designer Tara Reid, with her boyfriend Julien Jarmoune, and gossip blogger Perez Hilton, who could barely keep his eyes open.
Audigier himself made the biggest donation of the night, donating $20,000 dollars to the cause.

All hooligans have to settle down sooner or later right? Rumor had it that Tara Reid is going to be getting married!
Well, Tara’s rep is brushing off those claims saying “It’s just a rumor.”
The National Enquirer is reported that Reid and her boyfriend Julien Jarmoune would be tying the knot soon.
Jarmoune is apparently her boss, and is one of the ones who made her new fashion line, Mantra, possible.
I knew it was too good to be true. Or just.. too weird to be true.
