No Election Release For FOB.
Fallout Boy had originally planned to release their politically themed new record on election day, but now they want change. The band posted the following message on their blog, informing everyone about holding back the date.
Six months ago we thought it would be a fun idea to release our album on election day but this is not the election to be cute. We felt as though rather than making a commentary we were only riding the wave of the election. This seemed less and less like what we intended to do and more of a gimmick. It is now in the hands of our label to give us a new release date… it is our intent to get our record out this year and as soon as possible — as we made sure to have it done in time for its original release.
I may have rode the wave to the bank if I were them…

It’s not easy lookin’ like Pete Wentz, according to Pete Wentz.
Pete told People Magazine at Gen Art’s Fresh Faces in Fashion show in Chicago this week that he too has the same hair challenges as the rest of us. Says Wentz;
“Here’s the thing about hair; I think most people think that I have Lego hair, like I can just take it on and off in one piece, and that’s not quite the case — although pretty close,” he said. “I refer to this [phenomenon] as Lego hair, when people think that about me. I think hair is just, like, the most important thing about you, Besides your soul, or maybe your heart, or maybe your crotch…. Or maybe the order I just put those in says a little something about who I am,”
Pete hosted the fashion show and watched along side his pregnant wife, Ashlee Simpson. Pete then hosted an After party at his Angels and Kings bar in Chicago.
Lookin like a lego head to me, Pete.

Everyone’s talking about the Senate passing the 700-billion-dollar bailout bill that is currently sitting on the house floor waiting for a vote. But November is right around the corner and celebrities are trying to help out with the other issues.
Ellen recently put California’s Prop 8 into citizen terms on her official website, urging you to vote NO and against the ban on gay marriage.
Fallout boy wants to urge you to do the same. The Chicago based band has just pledged a $50,000 donation to support No on 8.
Pete Wentz just updated his blog with the following;
“There are a lot of causes out there — a lot of ‘good’ fights to be fought. I think proposition 8 is pretty lame — as many others do too. It’s fucking lame.”
As John McCain said in a recent interview with Gay publication, The Washington Blade;
“As a Republican, I am a strong advocate for federalism. States should be able to decide as many issues as possible. That’s certainly the case on the definition of marriage.”
His opponent, Barack Obama shares the same view on this issue. He supports civil unions between gay and lesbian couples, as well as letting individual states determine if marriage between gay and lesbian couples should be legalized.
It’s up to the states, so VOTE NO on Prop 8.

Pete Wentz went shopping at Big Lou’s Toy Store in Los Angeles this afternoon to pick up some oldies-but-goodies.
Pete, who’s expecting his first child with Ashlee Simpson this November spent some major cash on the collectibles! He got dolls of Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, a Buz Lightyear tote bag, and a Return of the Jedi lunch pale priced at $109.00!!
So are these toys for himself? Or is he trying to tell us something by buying toys that would typically be for a boy? Hmmmmm….

Pete Wentz updated his blog with some good news and some bad news this afternoon.
The good news: The Wentz hosted FN’MTV has been picked up for a second season. Wentz promises they are going to “keep working out the bugs and bringing to you. keep supporting music videos…” (He’s a rocker, not an English major.)
Could the new MTV video show be what killed TRL?
The bad news: Fallout boy has asked Spencer Pratt to appear in their next video.
Why??? Your guess is as good as mine.
Pratt wont be the only one making a cameo, former Blink 182 member Mark Hoppus, Pharell, and Gabe Saporta will also be making appearances.
