Taylor Swift Tops Pop/Country Charts.
Taylor Swift’s sophomore album Fearless topped the pop and country charts this week selling more than 592,000 files.
Taylor beat out American Idol runner-up David Archuletta who only sold 183,000 copies.
Taylor’s record was the highest selling country album for first week sales this year! Oh and she even sold more than those pukes the Jonas Brothers did when their cd came out!
Annnnnnd it still sucks to be Jessica Simpson!

50 cent has finally came out with a personal explanation for delaying his cd release until some time in 2009.
The rapper’s newest album, titled Before I Self Destruct, was set for a holiday season released, when at the last minute it was pushed back until “some time in 2009″ due to there being not enough time for the proper promotion, mixed with the tanking of the first single.
50 was on hand at the TRL finale this week and told MTV;
“I’m trying to leave the same way I came in. February 4 [2003], Get Rich or Die Tryin’ came out. I drop this album February 3. The time frame. It used to take six to eight weeks for us to position a hip-hop record. Now, it’s taking 12 to 14 weeks.”
Adding,
“Just the positioning. I’m not comfortable where I’m at right now. My song ‘Get Up’ is performing great. I’m happy with ‘Get Up.’ It moved faster than ‘I Get Money’ at radio. But I’m just looking for the opportunity to present more of my material [prior to the album's release]. It’s not the strongest effort on my album; it’s just a great start for me.”
Excuses, excuses.
Before I Self Destruct will be 50’s final album fulfillment with Shady/Aftermath and Interscope records before he’s able to seek a new contract. It’s likely a greatest hits album would be released some time during those negotiations a la Hilary Duff and Christina Aguilera.
50 was once rumored to be butting heads with Aftermath mega producer Dr. Dre, and it was once questioned whether or not he would even be making this record, or just putting out a Greatest Hits/ DVD double disc set to fulfill his contract.
So I guess we can look for this on February 3rd then?

BreatheHeavy.com has released three photos from the set of Britney Spears‘ second music video off of her upcoming leaked album, Circus.
The track is also titled Circus, and is probably one of my favorites on the disc so far. If you haven’t heard it yet, you must be livin’ in another world.
I really do think this should have been her first single/first video though by the looks of it. Not that I would trade naked Britney in the sauna in the Womanizer video for the world, but perhaps in a reverse order.
Honestly now I’m sick of womanizer and skip by it every time.

Despite some lame reports, Miley Cyrus is very much alive. In fact, she’s so alive that in addition to her appearance on the American Music Awards thats set for this coming Sunday night, Miley will also perform her new single on the November 25 finale of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.
Miley’s Hannah Montana co-star, is competing tonight for a spot in next weeks final, where she will perform her hit single, Fly on the wall.

For those of you like myself riding the Circus wagon, you’re going to love this! It was a track included in the 8 minute mix sampler that I posted last week, but It didn’t gain much attention.
A loop of Track 6 titled “If you seek amy” which translates to (F. U. C. K. ME) has been released on it’s own with a little bit more than the original sample.
The lyrics kind of call out Wino if you ask me.. So I can’t wait to hear what the rest of the lyrics are like.
Here’s two samples; “Oh baby baby have you seen Amy tonight, is she in the bathroom is she smokin’ up outside.”
and; “Love me, hate me, cant ya see what I see, all of the boys and all of the girls are beggin’ to f.u.c.k. me”
It could really go either way… Both being completely true statements.
I’m going to go out on a limb and call this THE track on Circus when it gets released in just 17 short long days.

His newest single from his upcoming album titled, Before I Self Destruct, has tanked so hard that I havent even heard it played once, and self destruction seems to be the theme here as 50 cent has been forced to push his December release date back to some time in 2009.
The track was called Get up, and though the clip I heard didn’t sound like the worst song ever, apparently the fans weren’t diggin’ it.
In a statement released from Interscope, they blame the short time crunch for deciding to push the album back, claiming, “with the deadline to secure advertising and retail placement for the album imminent.”
Is it all winding down for Curtis?
At least he still has all them Vitimin Water bucks!
Maybe he just realized that the entire month of December, and the next 6 months after was reserved for Circus!
