What Rules?
So I decided to brave the crowd and head out to the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen book signing in Westwood, CA last night to see how many of the rules would actually be enforced.
Surprisingly aside from the must purchase a book to get a wristband rule, they weren’t very strict at all.
As fans approached the end of the line before the table, the security would take their bags and cameras, and occasionally yell out to stop taking photos from the line, but Mary-Kate and Ashley were amazingly friendly at the actual signing table.
They smiled, thanked everyone for coming, and at least with myself even struck up a short conversation.
I managed to grab a crummy phone snap of the twins, and wanted to also share their fine penmanship with you all.
PETA showed up to protest outside dressed in ‘Trollsen’ masks, and I’ve never wanted to skin an animal, eat it, then make myself a hat so bad. Fur is fashion!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will be signing copies of their new book, Influence, this Wednesday night at Borders Books at 1360 Westwood Boulevard, in Westwood, CA.
The twins will appear to meet and greet fans starting at 7pm, and apparently there are some pretty strict rules that you must follow if planning to attend the signing.
While looking for some info I found this set of rules pertaining to the event;
“Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen will only be signing copies of their book. They will not be speaking, reading or taking questions. They will not sign any memorabilia or product other than Influence and there is no photography allowed. You must put away your camera or cellphone before approaching the signing table.”
So, why even bother signing books if you dont want to have to interact with the fans? Oh well, I’ll be there either way.

Mary-Kate and Ashley are reportedly in the middle of another twin feud. This time over breast implants!
According to Star Magazine, MK + A have been arguing over getting their boobs done because Ashley wants to go up a size or two and Mary Kate doesn’t.
Should be no problem there right? Well according to an Olsen insider, Ashley is interested in filling out her figure a little bit more, but wants Mary-Kate to get a twin surgery so that it’s a little bit less obvious that she had work done, and so they can just act like they both filled out some more.
Well, too late for that, and no luck convincing her sis, who apparently enjoys the ‘flat’ look because she thinks it goes better with her style and looks better in the clothes she wears.
Agreed.

Twins dont stay the same forever! When it comes to grown up twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, now is the time where they differ the most.
In an interview out of their upcoming book, Influence, the twins spoke to fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld about love, marriage, and the baby carrage.
When asked what the twins thought of each, Mary Kate told Karl that she “didn’t feel the need to get married,” though she’s been dating NYC artist Nate Lowman for about a year now.
She did add that “Ashley want’s children, I’ll be a great aunt or godmother.”
Though it was probbaly the furthest thing from Ashley’s mind at the time of the interview, as she was then single, but now she must be giving it a bit more thought since starting to date actor Justin Bartha.

I hate Peta, it’s no secret that I am obsessed with chicken mcnuggets, love nothing more than a big fur coat, and absolutely adore the Olsen twins. BUT… this is almost pretty good.
Peta hates Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and refer to them on their site as Hairy Kate and Trashley. They have many activities dealing with them on their site which I will not link to, and are giving away free “Hairy kate and Trashley” halloween masks.
I wouldn’t pay a dime to PETA for this crap, but since it’s free I had to get some. And I urge everyone else to get them as well. They are pretty “halloweenish” anyways. Then… take pictures of your self wearing leather and fur, eating chicken mcnuggets, or cow tipping wearing these masks and email them to me at Charley@starzlife.com and i’ll take it from there.

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen’s opposite lifestyles might be causing some serious drama between the tiny twins.
Reports are saying that Ashley is not a big fan of the way Mary-Kate is living her life and wants her to stay away from their business empire until she changes her ways. An Olsen source told inTouch Weekly;
“Ashley really wants to be a respected businesswoman and be taken seriously, MK does too, but she hasn’t been willing to give up her lifestyle and act like an adult for their job.”
Mary-Kate and Ashley have two fashion lines within their empire, The Row, and Elizabeth & James. Ashley has reportedly asked Mary-Kate to step down from her duties with The Row and focus on the twins more affordible line, E&J, where they have less of a hands on roll.
The source also adds it’s a shame because Mary-Kate’s unique fashion sense was so much a part of developing The Row.
