Public Service For Hudson Murder Victims.
The Hudson family will be holding a private and public funeral service for those wishing to mourn the death of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and nephew Julian on Sunday in Chicago.
An invitation-only service will be held at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Gift Memorial Baptist Church (4526 S. Greenwood; Chicago, IL).
Then following at 4 p.m., the church will open up to the public, and attendees will be invited to speak about the lives of Darnell Hudson Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King, who were shot and killed last weekend.
In a statement released by Jennifer’s rep:
“The Hudson family welcomes anyone who wishes to attend and pay their respects to these three beloved members of the Chicago community.”

With 7 days left until the most important election of our time, in a country with a ton of problems here at home, Hayden Panettiere still is setting her sights on the whales.
Hayden released a new video online pleading with everyone to add the cause to their website to help them get donations.
Here’s what she had to say;
“I need you to go to SocialVibe.com and choose the Whaleman Foundation as your charity. By adding SocialVibe to your MySpace, your Facebook, your blog, whatever it is you do online, we will earn donations to the cause without you even having to pay a single cent,” says Hayden. “Our goal is to get 1 million of you to sign up by the June 2009 meeting of the International Whaling Commission, where I will personally deliver the petition.”

Natalie Portman has been secretly visiting sick kids in an LA children’s hospital about three times per week. A friend of Natalie’s says; “Natalie loves that she’s doing something entirely removed from the entertainment industry.”
Apparently ever since breaking up with her ex, Davendra Banhart, Natalie is in search of new beginnings and is relocating to Los Angeles.
Most celebrities love to broadcast their charity work for self gain, this is seemingly not the case here, though a little press never hurt anyone, and could also help draw attention from more people. That’s when a celebrity uses their name for good.

Michael Lohan is still trying to get someone to step into the ring with him for a charity boxing match. He’s tried to take on everyone from Page Six to Keven Federline and now Perez Hilton with nobody answering his challenge and setting up the fight.
Perez is however the first to speak out against a quote Lohan told the New York Daily News. He says;
““If there’s one person on this planet that I’d like to fight, it’s [celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, For every single jab he’s taken at my children and my family.”
Perez responded with the following;
“I may take jabs at him and his messed-up family, but they’re baby taps compared to the blows he’s thrown at his own ex-wife and his daughter’s girlfriend. Maybe if he quit being such a desperate media whore, he might one day be able to have a relationship with his children again.”
Both sound like fightin’ words to me, and according to a poll, most Americans surveyed would love to see this bout as well.

60 percent of the votes say that these two should square off for charity, and of the over 4,000 votes cast total, 2,352 think Perez could handle Lindsay’s dad while 1855 simply say it wont happen.

Who knew Felicity Huffman was such do-gooder. The Desperate Housewives star has been recently devoting her time to helping find homes for orphan animals that are held up in shelters.
Over 4 million of these orphan dogs and cats are put to sleep each year due to overcrowding at animal shelters, so Iams has came up with the Iams Home 4 the Holidays program, which will run through Jan, 5 2009 and hopes to put 1 million animals in homes by that time.
Huffman has teamed up with the program to raise awareness and help save a few animals lives. She says;
“What is great about Iams Home 4 the Holidays, they have 3,000 shelters all across the world, even in Iraq and any participating shelter you can go on their Web site and find one that is closest to you, and not only can you adopt your best friend who is there waiting for you, but they also give you an education program.”
The education program will give you help and tips on raising your pet, potty training, and everything else that comes with adopting an animal.
Huffman’s dog, Tucker, which she always has present on the DH set was adopted two years ago from Pet Orphans of Southern California.
