Pete wants to raise the baby in Chicago.

Pete and Ashlee just announced their pregnancy, will they be packing up and leaving LA before the baby is born?

Pete Wentz spoke with People and claimed that he would rather raise the baby in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, because he thinks it’s a better place to grow up than in California.

Wentz claimed; “I think I would rather raise a family here than L.A.; you go to your own coffee shop, you go to the dog park, its smaller and I appreciate it.”

He also added that he has been reading books and watching his father to try and learn how to be a good dad.

Wentz and Simpson will give birth later this year.
