Deborah Gibson’s Camp Electric Youth! New Video Added!
“DEBORAH GIBSON’S CAMP ELECTRIC YOUTH” Founded by Pop and Broadway Star Deborah “Debbie” Gibson, “Deborah Gibson’s Camp Electric Youth” kicked off Monday, July 7, and runs through Friday, July 18.
The performing arts summer day camp is geared toward serious performers, ages 7 to 17. Students are given the opportunity to learn the basics in acting, improvisation, singing, songwriting, and dance, plus on camera technique, audition technique, and more, from top industry experts and professionals. The students also have the exclusive opportunity to showcase their talent to special celebrity guests and industry pros on the last day of camp. Gibson’s passion and commitment to foster and mentor young performers was what led her to launch “Deborah Gibson’s Camp Electric Youth.” She wanted to provide a nurturing, creative, disciplined, and fun atmosphere for young people who are serious about embarking in a career in entertainment. After exploding on the pop music scene at the tender age of 16, the “Original Pop Princess” quickly became the youngest person ever to write, produce and perform a number one single, “Foolish Beat,” a record she has held for the past 20 years in the Guinness Book of World Records. A singer, songwriter, musician, actor and dancer, Gibson is ready to pass the torch to the next generation.
